Named after an ancient super-continent, Sanbona Gondwana Lodge is the latest luxury accommodation located on Sabona Wildlife Reserve. Visit the sites where the San people left their legacy on the rock faces at Sanbona, where the ranger will interpret the scene so that the children can create their own ‘rock’ art. Children can partake in various social, sporting and art activities such as bead making, clay making activities, face painting, star gazing.
There is also a wide selection of indoor activities including art with scrap books, paper, scissors, glue crayons, pencils & paints. Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is situated approximately 3 hrs from Cape Town on the renowned Route 62 between Montague and Barrydale. The turn-off is 40km from Montague and 19km from Barrydale and is signposted at the Vlakte, the main entrance to the reserve is 7km from the R62, where a member of the staff will greet guests.
