The original trees have been allowed to grow through the decks, and tall clay pots cluster on the decks , planted with cacti and succulents indigenous to Kwandwe. A rim flow lap pool is lined with shaded decks and teak sundecks. The kitchen is modern, minimalist and open plan, allowing guests an interactive experience of Ecca’s Pan African cuisine served with the freshest of farm ingredients.
Kwandwe’s skilled rangers and trackers lead guests on twice daily game drives tracking the wide variety of animal and bird species, and exploring the four distinct habitats harbouring chartacteristic fauna and flora. These interpretive game – drives will bring you close to the Big Five and other magnificent animals in the Reseve. In the evenings a local historian entrances guests with his tales of the region’s rich history. Guests at Kwandwe can request thrilling nocturnal adventures exclusive to the Eastern Cape.
