Cape Point and the Winelands in one day

Make your way along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, stopping at a Llandudno look-out point before continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour.

On through the breathtaking Chapman's Peak Drive to Cape Point with its magnificent fynbos vegetation, birdlife, endemic antelope species, zebra and baboons, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks. Cape Point is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, though this actually occurs further east at Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point in Africa.

Next up is the historic naval village of Simon's Town and a visit to the penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach, followed by a light lunch at a nearby restaurant.

We then head to Stellenbosch, the heart of the South African wine industry and steeped in South African history. We enjoy a cellar tour and wine tasting in Stellenbosch, savouring some of the country’s best vintages, to mark the end of an unforgettable day!
