To All our Friends, Families, Suppliers and Valued Clients,
As 2009 draws to a close I would like to personally Thank You for your dedication and loyal support during the past year. 2009 has been a difficult year for many, but at the same time it was a defining year for us at Rhino Africa, and as we reflect on our achievements over the past year, it is not without the gratitude of our family, friends, suppliers and clients, that made it all possible.
I’m fortunate to have come from a very large family, and thus family values have been an important part of both my business career and development. It is these family values that I believe sets Rhino Africa apart, and while I am somewhat adamant that our clients should only book with us, because we are able to offer an exceptional service at the best possible price, through our Expert Consultants, I am truly grateful for the opportunity our clients allow the Rhino Africa family to give back.
In 2009, through your support and the dedication of this inspirational team, we were able to give back over R 500 000 to communities and projects close to our hearts. Our Challenge for a Cause event held in July 2009, raised over R 300 000 for Dessert Black Rhino protection. With less than 200 of these animals left in the wild, their survival is dependent on the actions of our generation. We have managed to feed 160 children daily at Khumbalani on the Cape Flats this year, and in the words of our great leader Nelson Mandela “To heal a nation first you must feed and educate its children” we look forward to the challenge of education in 2010. Add to this the food parcels for the orphans of Little Lambs, and the financial support of The Ark, and it is easy to see why I am both humbled and proud to have been instrumental in building this exceptional company.
With the FIFA World Cup about to take place on our shores, 2010 promises to be defining year for South Africa, and we look forward to welcoming guests from around the world to experience our beautiful country. I invite you to join us on a journey to Africa, a journey that I have no doubt will change your life. In the words of Ernest Hemingway "I never knew of a morning in Africa when I woke that I was not happy"
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year,
David Ryan and the Rhino Africa team.

With the World Arriving in South Africa for the month of June and July 2010, planning your African holiday might be somewhat more challenging than usual in 2010. What most people don’t realise is that due to strict conservation practises, many countries like Namibia, Botswana and Zambia have limited bed capacity, and with peak safari season running between April and October each year, demand often exceeds supply. To make things worse for the average safari goer is that the FIFA World Cup happens slap bang in the middle of “Safari Season” placing even a greater strain on availability.
So if you not an avid Football fan, you might want to consider planning your African holiday around these dates, but whatever you do, the best advice when it comes to planning any African holiday is to book early. The earlier you book, the greater flexibility you will have to plan and chose the Itinerary and accommodation of your choice, that best suits your requirements.
We at Rhino Africa specialise in building Tailor-made holidays to suit your exact requirements and budgets. Our Consultants are both product and destination Experts, and look forward to helping you plan and book the perfect African Holiday. Whatever the occasion, start planning your 2010 African holiday, by contacting us today.
