Day 1-2 : Damaraland, Desert Rhino Camp
Depart Windhoek Airport in the morning. After a 1.5 hour flight, you will arrive at Palmwag Lodge and be transferred in an open 4x4 gameviewer to the Desert Rhino Camp. Two overnight stays at Desert Rhino Camp including full board plus activities.
Desert Rhino Camp is a luxury tented mobile camp run in conjunction with the “Save the Rhino Trust” in the Palmwag concession area of the rugged northern Damaraland. The camp offers a fascinating insight into the ecology and conservation of this incredible area, at the same time contributing directly to the Trust and ultimately the sustainability of this vulnerable area and its wildlife.
The area we traverse, whilst tracking Black Rhino and other wildlife is massive, over 450 000 hectares. The camp has large “meru” tents with en-suite facilites. A maximum of 12 guests will have the rare pleasure of exploring this wild and remote area in the company of the dedicated conservationists who host them together with local trackers.

Vehicle transfer to airstrip at Palmwag Lodge and subsequent flight to Ongava Lodge. Ongava Game Lodge is situated along the southern boundary of
Etosha National Park in the privately owned Ongava Game Reserve. Ongava is the ideal place from which to base your activities when visiting Etosha. Accommodation comprises of twelve air-conditioned brick, rock and thatch chalets, each with en-suite facilities.
Meals are either served in the main dining area under thatch with a view over the camp's water hole, or on the dining deck under the stars.
Activities include game drives in open 4x4 vehicles into the Okaukuejo area of Etosha where Lion, Elephant, Cheetah, Gemsbok, Springbok and Hartebeest can be seen at many of the water holes in the park. In addition, night drives, hides and walks with armed guides are enjoyed on the private reserve. Ongava has resident White and Black Rhino, giving guests staying at Ongava the opportunity to see both species.

Meals: Fully Inclusive of All Meals and ActivitiesDay 5–6 : Kwando River , Caprivi Strip, Susuwe Island Lodge After breakfast road transfer to Ongava airstrip - our destination being the Susuwe Island Lodge on the Kwando River. Susuwe Island Lodge offers the opportunity to experience closely a wild and untouched island of Africa. Situated in north eastern Namibia, the island is in the remote Kwando River - a permanent water source which nourishes delicate ecosystems and sustains varied game and birdlife.
Relaxation, privacy and comfort are paramount here. Susuwe Island Lodge is built to incorporate the riverine forest - the main complex has lofty canopy viewing decks overlooking endless savannahs, glistening lily-studded wetlands and ancient Kalahari woodlands, as well as a firepit, spacious lounge and dining areas, curio shop and a small reference library.
At Susuwe game drives are being conducted in open 4x4 vehicles in the Bwabwata National Park. Game sightings in this cradle of rivers could include vast herds of roaming elephant and buffalo, lion, hippo, leopard, sable, roan, lechwe and puku for example. Night drives at Susuwe offer an even closer insight into the African bush.

Day 7–8 : Zambezi River and Chobe River Confluence
After breakfast road transfer to Susuwe airstrip - our destination being the Impalila Island Lodge. The peaceful and secluded Impalila River Lodge is situated in Namibia on an island at the confluence of the mighty Zambezi and Chobe Rivers, at the meeting place of four countries (Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana). The area is the easternmost tip of the Caprivi Strip - from the air an amazing mosaic of waterways, floodplains and bushveld - on the ground exceptional bird life, game-viewing and assorted vegetation - and, in the waters outstanding fishing opportunities.
Guests may choose how they spend their leisure time and apart from the luxurious accommodation and culinary delights, a wide variety of activities are offered. A sunset game cruise on the Chobe River, fly-fishing the Mambova rapids for the rapacious Tigerfish or bream, guided walks on the island including visits to cultural villages and a 2000 year-old baobab tree, from where the meeting of all four countries and two rivers can be witnessed, mokoro (dugout canoe) trips in the quiet backwaters, or just pampered relaxation. Bird watching - some of Africa's rarest birds are spotted here. Day trips to Victoria Falls and scenic flights over the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, can be arranged.
