Spend two nights on Chief's Island in the exclusive Mombo Concession, which is inside the Moremi Game Reserve, which is inside the Okavango Delta. Predators thrive on this enormous island; there are plains animals enough to fill the widest lens; fascinating semi-aquatic animals and a profusion of birds both rare and common. Your next two nights are in either Chitabe or Kwetsani Camps both of which offer supreme levels of luxury, exceptional game viewing activities and a chance to play with giants. Throw in two nights at the magnificent Kings Pool ot Duma Tau, on the banks of the Linyanti River surrounded by elephants and the great African bush, and end off your safari with two nights at the elegant River Club near Victoria Falls.

9 Days to explore the Okavango wilderness

Safaris should all be like this. No fuss, supreme luxury and an exceptional wilderness encounter. The Nine-day Wilderness Safari in Style gives you two five-star lodges in the Moremi Game Reserve and a spectacular lodge on the Chobe River surrounded by pristine African wilderness. The grand finale is a two-night stay opposite Victoria Falls at the River Club in Zambia.

Day 1 - 3: Chief's Island, Okavango Delta, Botswana

From Maun in Botswana, you will board a scheduled charter flight into the Okavango Delta; flying time is about 25 minutes and you will touch down near your first of two luxurious lodges: Jao or Jacana Camps . Activities take to land in 4WD game drive vehicles and water in high-level season with traditional dug-out canoes called mekoro.

Day 3 – 5: Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango Delta

Whether you're going to , the scheduled charter flight takes about 15 minutes this time; and you can expect the same levels of luxury and wilderness at both lodges. Game viewing activities here include – water levels permitting - water safaris in mekoro and power boats, day and night game drives, bush walks, balloon safaris and – at an extra cost - a magical day spent with a family of habituated elephants.

Day 5 – 7: Chobe National Park, Botswana

After your morning activity you will transfer by scheduled charter flight to Linyanti – flying time about 1 hour – where your guide will meet and drive you to Kings Pool, which, barring a herd of elephant on the runway, will take about ten minutes. A small, intimate and exclusive lodge, Kings Pool looks out over the River and offers excellent game viewing activities. Elephants are a permanent feature of this beautiful region and the rest of Africa's magnificent creatures also abound.

Day 7 – 9: Victoria Falls, Zambia

After your final breakfast feast, you will transfer by charter flight and road to the River Club in Zambia. The trip takes about two hours and you will clear customs and immigration en route. Staying at the River Club – you can arrange a dat trip to the Victoria Falls, which depending on the time of year is best viewed from either Zambian or Vic Falls side.

On your final day, a hotel shuttle will take you to Livingstone International Airport for the end of an elegant African safari.
