Day 1 - 3: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
You will be met at Victoria Falls Airport by a friendly driver who will regale you with local colour en route to your hotel in town. Ilala Lodge is as close to Victoria Falls as you can get on the Zimbabwean side and you can see the plume of spray and hear the thunder of the falls from the front verandah. The lodge adjoins the Victoria Falls National Park and your front lawn is a favoured snack for many wild animals.
There is plenty to see and do at Victoria Falls and pre-booking your activities is recommended. You have a choice of several exciting wildlife adventures, adrenaline-packed activities, cultural interaction and serene sight-seeing excursions.

Day 3 - 5: Chobe National Park, Botswana
The road transfer from Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park takes about two and a half hours; you will complete customs and immigration formalities en route.
Chobe Game Lodge is the only lodge inside the National Park and its situation along the river is sublime. Safari activities include morning and afternoon game drives and game viewing by river craft on the Chobe River. Ask for a guide to take you on an interpretive nature walk along the river and you can also opt for a walking trail in the Kasane Forest Reserve. The days are wrapped up with slide shows and presentations or star-gazing beside the campfire.

Day 5 - 7: Okavango Delta, Botswana
Kasane Airport is a short game drive away and your chartered flight to Camp Moremi takes about an hour. Camp Moremi is a relaxed and welcoming lodge overlooking the Xakanaka (pronounced ka-ka-na-ka) Lagoon in the Okavango Delta.
The camp is inside the Moremi Game Reserve and a wildlife extravaganza awaits. Your activities will include morning and afternoon game drives, excellent bird watching and exploring the Okavango channels in a motorised delta boat.

Day 7 - 9: Okavango DeltaYou might get an inkling of the Okavango's size and pristine wilderness as you skim the channels and waterways in a delta boat to Xugana Island Lodge (pronounced ku-ga-na). The delta is one giant postcard-ready picnic spot so your guide will have no trouble finding a suitably scenic refreshment stop en route. The journey takes about an hour and a half.
Activities at the luxurious and intimate Xugana are more water-based than at Camp Moremi. Your morning and afternoon excursions are in delta boats and traditional dugout canoes called mekoro, which take you by way of a maze of channels and lagoons to islands for fascinating walking safaris. Birdwatching is excellent with many specials and endemics to be seen and the semi-aquatic wildlife puts on a great show; fishing for dinner or for sport is also a popular option at Xugana Island Lodge.
On the final day, after your morning excursion and a plump breakfast, the 30-minute flight takes you to Maun Airport and the end of a fantastic African experience.
