Starting at the
Okavango Delta, this ten-day safari offers you comfortable camps with a rustic edge amid the wild splendour of Botswana's famous safari regions: the Okavango and
Chobe National Park. An elegant finale at the Royal Livingstone Hotel, almost on top of
Victoria Falls, provides a dramatic return to form.
- Okavango Delta from two different angles
- Wildlife, birdlife and spectacular scenery
- Remote camps with rustic charm and plenty of comfort
- Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River
- Exciting game viewing and adventure activities at every stop

From Maun in Botswana, you will fly to the
Okavango Delta for four nights; another flight will take you to
Chobe National Park for two nights and then it's a fly-drive-boat transfer to the Royal Livingstone at
Victoria Falls. This casual and comfortable safari is ten days of pure decadence offering great food and hospitality combined with amazing scenery, wildlife and seclusion.
Day 1 - 3: Okavango Delta, Botswana
A 25-minute scheduled charter flight takes you to Xakanaxa Camp – say X like a K and you've got it down. Overlooking the Xakanaxa Lagoon, this rustic timber-reed-thatch-and-canvas camp offers comfort and relaxation in a spectacular location on the banks of the Khwai River – no bridges here, just boats. Game viewing activities combine land and water to give you a complete experience of the delta. Wildlife is rife, birdlife is prolific and beautiful scenery is everywhere.
Accommodation: Xakanaxa Camp
Meals: Full board, excluding premium drinks
Day 3 – 5: Okavango Delta
An exciting 90-minute boat ride takes you to Camp Kwara – another land and water safari camp with excellent game viewing and that same warm welcome. Spend another two days here following the rhythm of life in the delta: sunrise excursion; eat; sleep; afternoon and sunset excursion; eat; sleep. Enjoy safaris in open 4WD vehicles through the surrounding floodplains or on water in power boats or traditional mekoro, which are dug-out canoes poled through the channels and lagoons by your local guide.
Accommodation: Camp Kwara
Meals: Full board, excluding premium drinks
Day 5 – 7: Chobe National Park
Camp Kwara has its own airstrip from where you will board a scheduled charter bound for Kasane Airport; flying time is about an hour and ten minutes. From Kasane your driver will take you on a 40-minute game drive transfer to Muchenje Safari Lodge on the western edge of Chobe National Park. A refreshing and down-to-earth lodge, Muchenje's owner-manager duo will feed you up, regale you with tales of the bush and ensure you get the best safari that dedication and enthusiasm can provide. Safari activities include game drives, river cruises, bush walks, night drives, cultural visits and an optional exploration of Chobe's interior – wild and rugged.
Accommodation: Muchenje Safari Lodge
Meals: Full board, excluding premium drinks
Day 7 – 10: Victoria Falls, ZambiaAfter your final breakfast feast, you will transfer to Kasane Airport where another friendly and informative driver will meet you for the road and boat transfer to the Royal Livingstone in Zambia. The trip takes about two hours and you will clear customs and immigration en route. Sleep-walkers beware: The Royal Livingstone is very close to the edge of the Zambezi River and almost on top of Victoria Falls. There is so much to see and do in and around Vic. Falls that three days will hardly cover it – so you'd better get cracking. Staying at the Royal Livingstone – an elegant five-star hotel – you will have unlimited access to the Victoria Falls from the Zambian side and the hotel has an adventure shop that will help you decide and book your activities. On your final day, a hotel shuttle will take you to Livingstone International Airport for the end of a splendid safari adventure.
