Pride of Africa - Kruger Park and Cape Town

This trip is a luxury trip throughout South Africa. It includes some of the countries finest properties and destinations. It starts with a safari in the Kruger Park before heading to Sun City Resort and then heads for the bright lights of cosmopolitan Cape Town. The trip concludes with a trip between Cape Town and Pretoria on the Rovos Rail train.

Day 1 – 5 : Safari

On your arrival at Johannesburg Airport you will be met by a representative who will welcome you to South Africa and assist you with your luggage. The representative will assist you with your direct flight to Londolozi Airstrip. This flight takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. On arrival at Londolozi Airstrip you will be met by a ranger or tracker who will transfer you the short distance to Londolozi Tree Camp.

Your normal day on safari consists of an early morning wake up call followed by a morning game drive. You will return to lodge for a well earned breakfast. After breakfast you will have the option to enjoy a bush walk. Lunch is served. Afternoon tea is served before your afternoon and evening game drive which departs at about 4:00pm. The game drive continues into the evening by use of powerful spotlights. You return to the lodge to freshen up before dinner, which is served outside under the stars !

Londolozi Tree Camp is located in the Sabi Sands This impressive & notable private game reserve has a very high concentration of animals and runs adjacent to the Kruger Park. This area attracts animals from all over the Kruger Park, and the open unfenced reserve means that the Big Five and plains game roam freely.

Open landrovers ensure that you get the best possible photographic opportunities. Off-road driving means that you can follow and track animals as they go into the thicker bush, and unlike other areas you are not restricted to viewing animals from the confines of a road. Night drives are a fabulous way to view nocturnal animals such as cats and lions.

Day 5- 7 : Sun City

This morning you will enjoy your final morning game drive and a well earned breakfast. After breakfast there will be a chance to freshen up before your transfer to the airstrip for your direct flight to Johannesburg.

On arrival at Johannesburg you will be met by a representative who will be responsible for transferring you by private vehicle to Sun City. This transfer takes about 2 hours 30 minutes. You will spending 2 nights at Sun City in the Palace of the Lost City

Day 7 – 11 : Cape Town

This morning you will check out of the Palace of the Lost City and be transferred back to Johannesburg Airport. On arrival you will check in for your flight to Cape Town. On arrival at Cape Town Airport a representative will be there to meet you and transfer you by road to Cape Grace Hotel.

You will have 4 days to spend at leisure in Cape Town. Please discuss any car hire arrangements or day trip with your Rhino Africa consultant

Day 11 - 13 : Rovos Rail

This morning you will be transferred to Cape Town Station for your Rovos Rail Journey. The Rovos Rail journey between Cape Town & Pretoria takes two day.

There is no finer way of seeing the African countryside than on a Rovos Rail journey between Pretoria and Cape Town. This classic steam railway trip travels through some of the most beautiful scenery in South Africa.

Day 13 : End Of Services

At about midday the Rovos Rails draws into Pretoria Station. A representative will be there to meet you and transfer you from the station to Johannesburg Airport
