Day 1 – 4: Lion Sands Private Game Reserve, Sabi Sand, Kruger National Park
Lion Sands Ivory Lodge
On your arrival at Johannesburg International Airport you will be met by a representative from Federal Air who will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to Fed Air private, first class executive lounge located a short 8 minutes drive away, where you will relax while you await your departure.
On your arrival at the airstrip you will be met by your ranger who will transfer you to the lodge in an open top safari vehicle. This transfer is about 20 minutes.
The Lion Sands Ivory Lodge is built on the banks of the Sabie River with magnificent views, extending onto the open sand banks of the Kruger National Park. Ivory Lodge was voted "Best Hotel in the World", Tatler Magazine 2006 and it is not hard to see why. The lodge focuses on privacy and exclusivity with fine attention to detail and impeccable service. Ivory Lodge is about African Euro elegance, sophistication yet simplicity, boldness yet balance, ebony & ivory, perfect harmony, exclusivity, sensitivity & complete privacy.
The suites have their own private rim flow plunge pools with magnificent views over the Sabie River. You can cool down down from the hot African sun in your private pool while watching animals as they quench in the river just metres away. The pools are also lit so taking a swim in the warm summer evenings is a must!
The main entrance of the lodge comprises of a private lounge, wooden viewing decks, board room, wine cellar, health spa, curio shop & both an indoor and open-air (Boma) dining area.
The staff will welcome you to the camp and explain the program and times of safaris etc. Game drives are with experienced rangers who are passionate about the African bush and will try and show you the Big Five but will also give you some intriguing information on birds, trees, plants and insects. Lion Sands focus on an all-round safari experience.

Day 4 – 8 Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel, Cape Town
After your final morning game drive you will go back to the lodge for a well-earned breakfast. After breakfast you will check out of the lodge and you will be transferred by road to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport for your flight to Cape Town. On your arrival at Cape Town Airport you will be met by a representative from Rhino Africa who will transfer you to the Cape Cadogan Boutique hotel. This transfer is approximately 20 minutes. The Cape Cadogan is a stately double-storeyed Georgian and Victorian building that dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. It was originally a farmhouse which was ‘Victorianised’ in 1912 and declared a national monument in 1984. Cape Cadogan is well known for its comfortable, luxurious atmosphere. The reception areas are individually decorated and designed for comfort and tranquillity. It is themed on the Irish literary figure Oscar Wilde who was renowned for his bohemian lifestyle throughout Europe and New York during the latter part of the 19th century.
Cape Town is one of the most interesting, diverse and vibrant cities in the world. Amongst the endless array of activities that Cape Town offers, you can explore the city centre, Robben Island or take a cable car up Table Mountain. Alternatively, Rhino Africa can organise private tours, car hire and day trips for you to the surrounding areas such as the world famous Franschhoek and Stellenbosch Winelands areas or the Cape Peninsula.

Day 8: Departure
After breakfast you will check out of Cape Cadogan. A representative from Rhino Africa will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Cape Town Airport for your onward travel arrangements.
