- Sunshine, beaches, cafés and restaurants
- Spectacular Cape Peninsula Scenery
- Nature and heritage trails
- Winelands, fine dining and plenty of shopping

Day 1: Cape Town
Pick up your hired car on arrival at Cape Town airport and drive to the hotel of your choice in either the
V & A Waterfront, with its quality shopping and proximity to the city centre or in the
City Bowl. Accomodation along the
Alantic Sea Board often offers sea views and if it's proximity to the beach you're looking for, hedge your bets around here. You could also venture out to the
Southern Suburbs or the
Cape Winelands - all about 20 minutes from the city centre if you don’t get too lost (don't worry our experts can help you there too).
Cape Town and the whole region are easy to navigate and the roads are well sign-posted – but do get hold of a good street map beforehand and ask your
Rhino Africa expert for advice. You can also read our
Cape Town facts and information page to brush up your knowledge.
Day 2 – 7: Cape Town and beyond
It’s all yours to explore and devour at your leisure. Find your favourite beach, there are so many scattered around the penninsula. Take a
day trip to the winelands and savor some of the Cape's finest reds.
If you are the adventurous sort, in Cape Town you can try your hand at any number of activities. Climb Table Mountain, dive with great white sharks (in a cage of course) and parasail over the beaches of Camps Bay. You can also explore the Cape Peninsula; visit Robben Island and go on a
township tour; visit Kirstenbosch Gardens; trawl Long Street; shop for souvenirs, jewellery, fabrics and clothes; go to a show; or get clever and visit the museums, galleries and exhibitions.
You will never be short of things to see and do in Cape Town, if doing it all on your own seems a little daunting,
talk to us and we’ll help you plan your week.
Day 8: Cape Town
If you haven’t extended your stay, it’s time to leave. The airport will seem a sad and melancholy place by comparison but at least you’ll be leaving with the knowledge that you’ll be back.
