The best of the Cape Peninsula in one week, this tour combines the wondrous city of Cape Town with two nights in the splendid wine-growing region of the Cape. This is an elegant tour that offers you the finer side of Cape Town and there is plenty on offer all year long. The gentle winelands region is a maze of wine routes that weave between vineyards, mountain ranges and nature reserves. Stately homes and excellent restaurants create a graceful melody that will stay with you long after you leave.
- Beautiful beaches, nature reserves, Kirstenbosch and Table Mountain
- Excellent restaurants, cafes and shops and plenty of fun
- Spectacular winelands scenery
- Fine dining, superb wines and gracious living

Day 1 – 4: Cape Town
Pick up your hired car on arrival at Cape Town airport and drive to the hotel of your choice in either the
V & A Waterfront, with its quality shopping and proximity to the city centre or in the
City Bowl. Accommodation along the
Alantic Sea Board often offers sea views and if it's proximity to the beach you're looking for, hedge your bets around here. You could also venture out to the
Southern Suburbs or the
Cape Winelands - all about 20 minutes from the city centre if you don’t get too lost (don't worry our experts can help you there too).
Cape Town and the whole region are easy to navigate and the roads are well sign-posted – but do get hold of a good street map beforehand and ask your
Rhino Africa expert for advice. You can also read our
Cape Town facts and information page to brush up your knowledge.
Day 5 - 6: Cape Winelands
The scenic drive to the picturesque winelands village of
Franschhoek takes up to an hour and half. Check in to your hotel, discuss the wine farms in the region with your knowledgeable host and plan your wine tasting route. There are nature reserves, beautiful mountain ranges, rivers, cheese farms, picnic sites and more besides the obvious wine tours.
Day 7: Cape TownTake the scenic route back to Cape Town Airport and the end of your wonderful Cape Peninsula holiday.
