Our Sossusvlei and Etosha safari, combines the best that Namibia has to offer. This trip is ideal for guests who do not want to self drive, and at a fraction of the cost of a Fly In Safari, can be escorted throughout the highlights of Namibia. From Windhoek travel south to the Namib Desert, and a opportunity to explore Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon, location of the highest sand dunes in the world, then travel west towards Swakopmund, where you can enjoy a variety of activities from quad biking to visits to Seal Colonies and Boat Cruises.

Day 1: Windhoek, Kalahari Sands Hotel
Upon arrival at Johannesburg Airport you will check in for your British Airways Flight BA 6275 departing from Johannesburg at 12h00. You are scheduled to arrive at Windhoek at 12h55 (Namibian Time). On arrival at Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport you will be met by a representative who will welcome you to Namibia and the start of your Namibia Safari adventure.

Windhoek at leisure.

Day 2 – 3 : Namib Desert, Sossusvlei Lodge
After breakfast you will travel southwards to the Namib Desert via the scenic Spreetshoogste Pass and Solitaire into the Namib Desert, the oldest and driest desert on earth. Your journey takes you to the famous
Sossusvlei, a clay pan surrounded by some of the highest sand dunes in the world. The trip allows you the chance to explore the impressive sand stone gorges of the Sesriem Canyon with its rock pools fed by the Tsauchab River.

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner & Bed Day 4 -5 : The Stiltz, Swakopmund After breakfast depart for the coastal town of Swakopmund, passing through the Guab and Kuiseb Canyons. Travel through endless rich plains, rich I wildlife which change into and arid environment where you will discover the age old endemic plant the Welwitschia Mirabillis. You continue to travel further to the Moonlandscape, an almost unearthly structure formed the valleys of the Swakop River. As you travel through Namibia you will have a chance to explore
Swakopmund, founded in 1892, a town with old world charm and a relaxed atmosphere , nestling between the desert and the Atlantic Ocean. For the adventure safari enthusiasts there are many optional activities this area has to offer, both for adventure seekers or those just wishing to relax.

Meals: Bed & Breakfast Day 6 – 7: Eagle Tented Lodge and Spa, Etosha National Park
After breakfast you will depart and travel west past the Spitzkoppe, often referred to as the Matterhorn of Namibia to the edge of Damaraland. A chance to visit one of the few wine farms in Omaruru for a tour and winetasting, before leaving for Etosha National Park. The next two nights are spent at a tented camp on a private reserve bordering the
Etosha National Park. On this Namibia Safari you will get a chance to venture into the Etosha Park in an open topped game viewing vehicle as well as enjoy safari drives with thie private reserve.
Etosha translates as ‘Great White Place of Dry Water’ . The pan lies in the heart of a National Park with a total area of 22, 750 square kilometers. This park is ranked among the great parks of Africa. It supports no fewer than 114 species of mammal and 340 species of birds. Much of the area is open country where wildlife is easy to see, especially in the dry season when animals crowd around springs and waterholes. Dwarf shrubs grow on the fringes of the pan with grassland beyond. In the rest tof the park, savannah and woodland are typical with the mopane as the dominant tree.

This morning after breakfast and early morning activities you will travel South wards towards Windhoek, via Outjo and Otjiwarango to the town of Okahandja visiting the Kavango Wood Carvers who ply their trade at large open air market.
You will arrive late in the afternoon at Okapuka Lodge which is a Game Ranch situated at the foot of the Eros Mountains. Optional activities at Okapuka Lodge include safaris on the reserve.

Day 9 : Day of Departure
After a relaxed breakfast you will travel back to the Capital City of Windhoek, and the airport for your return flight home.
