Our 8 day scheduled Fly In Namibia Safari provides you with a whistle stop tour of Namibia. Luggage is limited to 10kg (22lbs) per person, but utilising small fixed wing aircraft, the trip allows you to explore the highlights of Namibia. From Windhoek you will fly South to the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world, and a 550 metre deep chasm.
From here you will fly into The Namib Desert and the famousSossusvlei a clay plan surrounded by some of the highest sand dunes in the world. From Sossusvlei it’s on to Swakopmund and some time at leisure to explore this little holiday village. Flying low over the Skeleton Coast your next destination is Damaraland, home of the ancient engravings and the Desert Elephant and endangered Black Rhino. Your safari ends with 2 nights in Etosha, a National Park over 17,000 square kilometres in size and home to over 114 species of mammals and 340 species of birds.

Day 1: Windhoek, Windhoek Country Club
On arrival at Johannesburg Airport you will depart on the daily flight from Johannesburg for Windhoek. On arrival at
Windhoek you will be met by a representative who will transfer you to the Windhoek Country Club.

Meals: Bed & Breakfast Day 2: Fish River Canyon, Canon Lodge
After breakfast you will be transferred to Eros Airport and depart by light aircraft across the magnificent Auas Mountain Range and Kalahari Desert, flying over the Hardap Dam and the extinct Brukkaros Volcano. Your destination is the
Fish River Canyon, second largest Canyon in the world.

Day 3: Namib Desert, Le Mirage Desert Lodge Morning visit to Fish River Canyon, a 550 meter deep chasm. Later enjoy a bird’s eye view of the steep and winding gorges of the Canyon before flying over the fascinating landscapes of the pro-Namib Desert to Sesriem, the gateway to the southern Namib Desert and its magnificent dune belts.

Day 4: Swakopmund, Hansa Hotel An open vehicle excursion takes you into
Sossusvlei, where this living desert, a tapestry of color and contour, make a visual feast for the senses. A visit to Sesriem Canyon and then our journey continues with a low-level flight across the dune desert to Namibia’ s premier holiday resort of Swakopmund, on the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 5: Damaraland Land, Twyfelfontein Country Lodge Morning drive to Walvis Bay for a marine cruise on Namibia’s only deep-sea harbour. Encounter a wide variety of aquatic birds, Cape Fur Seals and the opportunity of sighting bottlenose and heavy-side dolphins. Namibian oysters and chilled sparkling wine and soft drinks are served during this leisurely cruise. Thereafter your flight takes you north along the Skeleton Coast, over the seal colony at Cape Cross and the Messum Crater to
Damaraland.

Day 6 – 7: Etosha, Eagle Tented Lodge The slopes of Twyfelfontein are strewn with boulders dotted with paintings and ancient engravings. Close by is Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes. After your visit, transfer to the airstrip for a short flight to a private lodge close to Namibia’s Etosha National Park. Game drives in the world famous
Etosha National Park afford the opportunity of sighting some of the 114 species of mammals and 340 different bird species.
Etosha translates as ‘Great White Place of Dry Water’. The pan lies in the heart of a National Park with a total area of 22, 750 square kilometers. ( see
Etosha National Park Map ) This park is ranked among the great parks of Africa. It supports no fewer than 114 species of mammal and 340 species of birds. Much of the area is open country where wildlife is easy to see, especially in the dry season when animals crowd around springs and waterholes. Dwarf shrubs grow on the fringes of the pan with grassland beyond. In the rest of the park, savannah and woodland are typical with the mopane as the dominant tree.

Day 8: Day of Departure
After a leisurely breakfast you board the aircraft for the final flight back to Windhoek. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the International airport for your return flight to Johannesburg.
