Day 1-4 : Cape Town
You will be met at Cape Town International Airport by a representative and transferred to the hotel/guesthouse of your choice. Spend three days at leisure exploring the Cape Peninsula in your rental car. We can pre-book any guided tours you may wish to take such as Cape Point, Table Mountain or Winelands. In your package we have included a 2 hour guided open bus trip around the Mother City. This is a ‘hop on – hop off’ service valid for the entire day, giving you a convenient means of accessing all major highlights in Cape Town.

Day 5-8 : Garden Route
Continue through the farmlands of the Overberg region to the Garden Route coastline. Drive the scenic back roads to explore the "real" Garden Route, then laze on some of the most beautiful and unspoiled beaches in South Africa. There is plenty to keep everyone in the family busy on the Garden Route – boat trips to find the dolphins and whales of Plettenberg Bay, a steam train journey, Knysna lagoon cruise, mountain biking, and the world’s highest bungi jump to name a few.

Day 9–10 : African Safari
Drive east towards Port Elizabeth for your Big Five Safari. The Eastern Cap is rich in history, culture and diversity, and offers the traveller a unique wildife experience in a malaria free environment.
Kariega Private Game Reserve is set in pristine wilderness in the picturesque Kariega River Valley. A unique feature is the ability to walk freely and safely amongst the game in an area of the reserve, which excludes the dangerous Big Five animals. Children of all ages are welcome at Kariega Lodge and some chalets have private swimming pools. Other activities include game drives, river cruises, canoeing, mountain biking, swimming in beautiful river pools or a visit to nearby Kenton Beaches.
Experienced rangers will track the Big Five with you on morning and afternoon game drives, and guide you on interpretative nature walks along Kwandwe’s privately owned Great Fish River Banks.

Day 11:
Drive to Port Elizabeth Airport to drop off your rental car, in time for your connecting flight.
