This excellent day tour, run by residents of the townships, takes you to places of major historical significance in the black struggle for liberation. Lightening the mood, it also shows you the impervious spirit of Africa and provides an uplifting cultural experience no museum could ever match.

This tour starts with a visit to the residential area of Bo-Kaap. From here, we move down to the remains of what was once a vibrant community known as District Six and understand the long walk to freedom.
