Pestana Bazaruto Lodge is one of the prime accommodations on the world-renowned Bazaruto Island. The island and its surrounds have been declared a national park so the marine life and exquisite corals are allowed to flourish with abundance. Exploring them is up to you.
Accommodation consists of 40 A-frame thatched bungalows sprinkled around lush tropical gardens. Most of them face out onto the sparkling sea - be sure to ask for an ocean view - which is just a hop, skip and jump away. Guests can choose from 20 Standard Rooms which are thatched and earthy with all modern conveniences. More discerning travellers may opt for the Superior Rooms which come with an outdoor porch and direct access to the beach.
At Pestana Bazaruto Lodge you have an excellent opportunity to dive or snorkel among colourful corals and tropical fish. Two-Mile Reef is nearby and offers superb snorkelling and the swimming off the beach is safe and superb.
