Cottar’s 1920s Camp

Within an exclusive, secluded concession in the midst of the Maasai Mara lies Cottar’s 1920s Camp. Located just one kilometre away from the Maasai Mara National Reserve, guests have the perfect opportunity to witness the Great Migration.
 
Take advantage of having the highest number of gold-level safari guides in all the Kenyan camps and explore the African bush. With over 6,000 acres of private conservancy to discover, experience exciting game drives or embark on guided and informative bush walks. Interact with, and learn from traditional community members at the Maasai Warrior School or try your hand at fishing along the river. After the day’s adventures, enjoy a soothing spa treatment in the comfort of your Tent.
 
The camp itself is spread over a kilometre to ensure a spacious yet intimate experience. Five double and one twin 1920s style Tents adorn the property as well as a Honeymoon Tent perfect for peace and privacy. For family adventures, there are four Tents designed to accommodate small groups with two en-suite bedrooms and a common area. If you’re a bigger group, the camp has a private house comprising of five en-suite bedrooms to accommodate you. Children of all ages are welcome and a nanny is available on request.
