The Sunset Bay Hotel is a relatively new addition to the North Coast of Zanzibar having been established in December 2006. But what it lacks in history it certainly makes up for in location, with white sand beaches and sparkling ocean on its doorstep.
Accommodation consists of double storey cottages that have 4 rooms each. There are 40 rooms in all, each one complete with a private bathroom and separate dressing area. There is also a fantastic front verandah to while away the days so you gaze wistfully across the ocean.
Sunset Bay Hotel is an excellent, reasonably priced hotel on the western cape of Nungwi. It is set on an elevated rocky outcrop with beautiful views of the adjacent sandy bay and crystal clear water.

There are a wide array of water activities to choose from at Sunset Bay. Hop aboard a boat trip, go snorkelling or diving among colourful coral reefs or partake in a multitude of sports and activities. But you came here for a holiday so you are more than entitled to just lie on the beach, wallow in the sea and do absolutely nothing!
