There are a few international airlines that serve Lusaka and Livingstone so getting here should be no problem. Getting around is not so easy but we can organise all your internal flights and road transfers.
Most visitors to Zambia will either arrive in Lusaka or Livingstone. Being the capital,
Lusaka is served by a number of international airlines, with many travellers flying here directly from Johannesburg (South Africa), Nairobi (Kenya) or Dar es Salaam (Tanzania). South African Airways, Air Namibia, Air Zimbabwe, Air Malawi, Kenya Airways and Ethiopian Airlines all fly directly to Lusaka. The airport is about 30km from the city centre and we can organise your transfers.
Flights from America can be arranged with either British Airways or South African Airways, via London or Johannesburg respectively. From the UK, there are four flights a week direct from Gatwick Airport to Lusaka and from Australia, Qantas flies to Harare in Zimbabwe and Johannesburg in South Africa, with connecting flights available to Lusaka. European airlines such as KLM, Air France and Lufthansa also fly to Lusaka, via either Harare or Johannesburg.
Daily flights operate between Johannesburg Airport and
Livingstone Airport. The flight is about 90 minutes in duration and Livingstone Airport is about 20 minutes drive from the Falls Resort.
NB: You can fly direct from Livingstone Airport to Skukuza Airport in the

From Livingstone and Lusaka most travellers opt for an internal flight with Aero Zambia if they wish to reach more remote regions such as South Luangwa National Park. There are also a number of other charter companies and with about 130 airports and landing strips in the country, you can catch a charter flight almost anywhere. It is definitely the quickest and easiest way to get around the country though not necessarily the cheapest.
The roads are reasonably well-maintained, though the distances involved are often great and 4-wheel drive vehicles are essential in the more remote areas. Furthermore, the roads can become impassable during the rainy season from November to March. But we can organise a road transfer or help you hire a vehicle if you please.
