Kibale is one of the best places in the world to go
Chimpanzee Tracking with about 500 of these primates spread around the park. The chimp tracking tours leave twice a day with an expert guide who will lead you on a trek through lush rainforest to find your oldest relatives. It is important to note that locating these primates may require a rather strenuous trek through muddy terrain - and once you have found them, the chase may not be over as they may hop from one tree to another across the canopy of the rainforest.
Chimps possess 98% of our DNA and are our closest relatives so you may feel like you are looking at a long lost friend. It is amazing how similar these animals are to us in appearance and genetics - and meeting them makes for a fascinating experience!
