Kleins Camp Description

Klein’s Camp features just 10 cottages of local rock and thatch with rich wooden floors and classic interiors. Each cottage has an en suite bathroom and private veranda with breathtaking views. Set on the edge of the Kuka Hills, Klein’s Camp is renowned for its classic safari accommodation in an exclusive private wildlife concession
Each cottage features rich wooden floors and serene, classic interiors. From the private verandas and spacious guest areas, a diversity of resident wildlife, including huge elephant herds, can be viewed in the valley below.

Klein’s Camp has a large, beautifully furnished bar/sitting area, swimming pool and African crafts shop featuring locally made Maasai crafts. Fresh vegetables picked from the camp’s shamba – an organic African garden – accompany wholesome Pan-African meals. Dinners are served in the main dining area, which is graced by a large open fireplace, or enjoyed in a spectacular clearing in the African bush close to the camp.

Klein’s Camp’s location in an exclusive wildlife concession bordering the game-rich north-eastern Serengeti National Park offers exciting game viewing, as well as the only night game-drives and bush walks in the Serengeti ecosystem. Enjoy excellent year-round lion, leopard and cheetah viewing .

Annuall the Great Migration of millions of zebra and wildebeest pass right in front of the camp, and viewing of this wildlife spectacle in fantastic. Huge buffalo and elephant herds are frequently spotted. The area is well respected amongst birders who enjoy the Soaring eagles, hawks and vultures which are found in the hilltop area. Rich birdlife is also found on the seasonal marshlands close to the camp.
