Located in the north of Tanzania, Ngorongoro Crater forms part of the
Northern Safari Circuit. This massive teeming crater is not part of Serengeti National Park though it does form part of the Serengeti ecosystem. You cannot stay in the caldera itself though there are superb lodges on the rim overlooking the fertile plains below!
