Plantation Lodge is perched atop soft, red-brown hills a stone's throw away from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The rooms and suites are accentuated by the lush and colourful garden - it is the perfect place to have a holiday before or after your safari.
There are 16 standard rooms spread throughout the premises, some with verandas and direct access to the garden. The more discerning travellers may opt for the Honeymoon Suite which offers unparalleled views of the garden. There is a lounge complete with fireplace and a terrific terrace. There are also two Coffee Suites each with access to the shared terrace and garden, their own private verandahs and two sunbeds as well as a spacious bathroom. And families or groups can stay in the two-storey Garden House which has four double bedrooms.
With the Ngorongoro Crater a short drive away and Tarangire and Lake Manyara national parks as well as the Serengeti in close proximity, there's not much you cannot do from Plantation Lodge! If you ever leave the lush gardens that is.

Plantation Lodge is located just outside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and is an ideal base from which to explore the world-famous crater. The national parks of Tarangire and Lake Manyara can both be visited as day trips to add a bit of variety to your East African safari while the majestic Serengeti Plains are also within reach. Not too bad eh?
