Lake Manyara National Park is almost always included on trips to the Northern Safari Circuit. And for good reason too! Our consultants can tailormake an itinerary that suits you best.
Lake Manyara is a 330sq km national park dominated by the lake itself in northern Tanzania. The entrance gate is 126km (80 miles) west of
Arusha along a newly surfaced road that passes close to the ethnically diverse market town of Mto wa Mbu (often included on tours). The drive is easy, comfortable and takes about 1.5 hours. If you would rather take a plane, there are charter flights from Arusha.
Lake Manyara is south of the
Ngorongoro Crater and
Serengeti and is usually combined in an itinerary of the Northern Safari Circuit. It is pretty much en-route to these two Safari destinations so makes the ideal stopover though it is a destination in its own right.
NB: We can organise everything from your international flights to your domestic charters or road transfers. Don't stress out about planning your journey - leave it to us and we will ensure it is a pleasure.
