Passing through Arusha but not sure where to stay? Have a look at the lodges listed below and contact one of our consultants to book your spot.
Arusha is not known for its luxury hotels but the quality and variety of accommodation has increased greatly in the last few years. Choose to stay in the centre of town, near the Clock Tower and beacon marking the halfway point from
Cape Town to Cairo. Or if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, choose a rustic lodge on the outskirts with views of the looming Mount Meru.
While there is not much to do in the town itself, it can be a relaxing retreat before or after your safari. Visit the colourful markets and buy some local produce, stock up on supplies and enjoy the slow rhythm of a quintessential African town. The streets are pretty safe so why not stroll down them and meet some of the friendly locals?
NB: Our consultants have been to the properties listed below so they can help you decide where to stay in the Safari Capital of Tanzania!
