Some camps in the Delta offer a combination of land and water based activities. The availability of these activities does very much depend on the ebb and flow of water levels.
Chiefs Camp is located on Chiefs Island, a large inland island in the Moremi Game Reserve. Elephant interaction and hot air ballooning are available at
Baines Camp and
Stanleys Camp as optional extras.
Sandibe Camp is set in a forest beside a papyrus fringed lagoon, the cottages are open and beautifully decorated.
Nxabega consists of safari tents on raised platforms and the main lodge is spectacularly decorated giving the area an exotic African feel.
