The
Okavango Delta in
Botswana is the largest inland Delta in the world. It's made up of an intricate network of channels & lagoons, and one of Africa’s vast unspoilt and pristine wilderness areas teeming with wildlife. See our
facts and information page for more on the Okavango Delta.
Stay in comfort and style at one of the many Camps and Lodges in the Okavango. Reminisce fireside about your day's game viewing by mokoro (dugout canoe), boat or landie. Wake to the loud grumbling of an elephant's tummy and lie silent and still in your luxury tent while it grazes only a stone's throw away. Experience a sunset unlike any other, as the sun dips on another day on safari in the Okavango Delta.
If the Okavango sounds like your type of African safari,
feel free to contact us anytime and we will take the hassle out of planning your Okavango holiday and ensure that you get the best and most authentic experience.

The
Okavango Delta varies in size throughout the year, depending on the rains which fall in the Angolan Highlands to the north. A constant ebb and flow of water controls life in this wetand. The lodges in
Northern Okavango, near the panhandle tends to offer year round water activities, while those centrally located in the
Moremi & Chiefs Island area offer both land and water based activities. The lodges in the
Southern Delta, close to Maun often don’t receive flood waters until August, so activities tend to be land based.
Being a natural wonderland, Botswana is rich in wildlife, and its vast expanses of nature are filled with a wide variety of things to see and experience. This means that safari tours in Botswana are exciting and will leave you awestruck. There are various places in Botswana at which you can experience incredible safari tours that will leave lasting impressions. The Okavango Delta is Botswana’s finest wildlife sanctuary, and is the largest inland delta in the world.
The
Chobe National Park, also incredibly dense with incredible wildlife, is only 90 minutes away from
Victoria Falls, and is host to some areas so remote that they can only be reached by light aircraft. The
Linyanti and Savuti areas in the Chobe National Park are more remote and quieter areas where game viewing is by far superior.
