The theme is positively nautical with large porthole-shaped windows, thick wooden beams and doors, and a spotless deck that even the most fastidious of seafaring captains would admire.Swakopmund Beach Lodge has ten double rooms and five family suites, each named after a famous shipwreck along Namibia's Skeleton Coast. The rooms have en suite bathrooms – some with baths, others with showers; nine of the units have fireplaces and kitchenettes; all have sea-facing balconies, satellite TV, and telephones. Swakopmund's cool sea breeze is diverted from its frosty course inland by the semi-circular design of Beach Lodge.
