Hammerstein Lodge and Camp, in the Naukluft Park near Sossusvlei, is a collage of leopard-print chairs, stone tiles, adobe chalets, thatched roofs, African artefacts, and great Namibian hospitality.The 35 double en suite chalets are comfortable, cool, and just what you need after a long, hot, dusty day in the Namib Desert.

The living area features a cavernous dining hall, lounge, bar, bistro, swimming pool, and garden. The desert setting – between the Tsaris and Nubib Mountains in the Namib-Naukluft Park – is serene and spectacular; the lodge is also situated relatively close to the entrance of Sossusvlei, making it an excellent base from which to explore Namibia's famous Namib Desert.
