Description of Intu Africa Game Lodge in NamibiaDeep in the Kalahari, along the parallel lines of red dunes and in the grassy valleys between them, is a unique and fascinating wilderness that simply must be experienced. Intu Africa Game Lodge is a large private reserve that supports an astonishing array – for such an apparently arid realm – of wildlife, birds, and plants and offers rare interaction with the San community of hunter-gatherers who live in the area. Intu Africa Game Lodge offers a choice of four accommodation options: Dune Lodge, Zebra Lodge, Camelthorn Lodge, and Suricate Tented Camp. All have en suite bathrooms; the three lodges have air conditioned chalets and the tents in Suricate have lounge areas and secluded open-air showers. The living areas comprise swimming pools, sun decks, lounges, bars, and restaurants. They all share the same spectacular Kalahari views and those unforgettable sunsets. |
