Ongava Lodge is a game private lodge just outside of Etosha National Park. A comfortable level of luxury complements the friendly, sociable atmosphere at Ongava. The chalets, lodge and public areas are all decorated to the highest standards using indigenous furniture, materials and colours. At Ongava Lodge the rooms have glass fronted doors which lead out onto a private covered verandah overlooking the bush. The main lounge, bar and dining area is also under thatch with wonderful views across the plains and floodlit waterhole below.

Outdoor dining under the stars, whilst viewing game drinking at the waterhole is something never to be forgotten. There is also a swimming pool and a large curio shop. At Ongava there is a smaller camp consisting of only 3 rooms this is called Little Ongava. For those looking for a less luxurious option then the Ongava Tented Camp is the perfect choice.

Ongava Lodge : Etosha

Etosha is Namibia's premier game viewing destination. It is one of Africa's largest game parks being nearly the size of Switzerland. Large herds of plains game concentrate around the water holes in the dry season making for exciting game viewing.From Ongava you will be driven into Etosha in a selection of vehicles. Ongava is privileged in being able to transport guests into the park in open sided vehicles, unlike many other tour operators. During your drive you will visit a number of famous water holes where a large spectrum of wildlife and bird life can be seen.

Access is either by air to Ongava’s own private airstrip, or by private car. Scheduled flights arrive from Swakopmund and also from Windhoek from where transfers can be arranged. Rhino Africa can organise all transfers and flights for you.
