Mokuti Lodge on the edge of EtoshaIn Namibia this is about as close as you will get to a hotel. Close to the eastern gate of Etosha National Park, Mokuti Lodge has 106 en suite rooms of various sizes and indistinguishable interiors. The lodge is covered by impressive thatch and is surrounded by a foot-tinglingly soft lawn. Rooms are spacious and designed with cherished African clichés in mind. En suite bathrooms, ceiling fans, air conditioning, hair dryers, mini fridge, and satellite TVs take care of the home comforts. Dining is either in the à la carte restaurant or from a carvery beneath the stars in the firelit boma. Being at the gates to one of Africa's great game parks, you'll spend most of your time at the many natural waterholes in Etosha National Park. Guided game drives are offered twice a day or you can go it alone if you know your black from your white – rhino that is. |
