Information about Little Ongava CampAn extension to the Ongava Lodge, Little Ongava goes several steps further in the luxury and privacy stakes – giraffe steps that is. On the crest of small hill, the lodge has just three chalets of pachidermal proportions. Built on raised wooden platforms the thatched suites have panoramic French doors that slide back to add a large verandah to your already sizeable bedroom and lounge. Your private sala and the plunge pool look out over the waterhole and the en suite bathroom shares the same view and has an additional outdoor shower for an invigorating lave. The Little Ongava's main lodge mixes warm colours and soft fabrics with cool air and an expansive view over the private reserve. The living area comprises a comfortable lounge, indoor and outdoor dining areas another swimming pool and another game-viewing deck looking out over the same waterhole. In the vein of exclusivity, the camp has a private game guide and a dedicated 4WD game-viewing vehicle. Activities include game drives into Etosha and walks and safaris in the private reserve, which also has several game-viewing hides and waterholes. |
