Halali in Etosha National ParkAlong with the other two places to stay inside Etosha National Park – Okaukuejo and Namutoni – Halali is undergoing major refurbishments as the state-owned Namibia Wildlife Resorts continues to modernise its flagging portfolio of accommodation. Halali is roughly halfway between the eastern and southern gates to the park making it a good stopover in both directions. The lodge is at the bottom of one of very few hills around Etosha Pan and it overlooks a floodlit waterhole. Offered in a range of sizes and levels of comfort, the air conditioned, en suite rooms are spacious with sliding doors that open onto a verandah and the great park beyond. The main complex houses the restaurant, bar, swimming pool, and a small shop. |
