Kuidas Camp Namibia InformationFor a unique combination of rustic simplicity, essential comforts, and total exclusivity, look no further than a fly-in safari to Kuidas Camp in the Torra Conservancy along Namibia's Skeleton Coast. Reserved exclusively for individual groups on a multi-day fly-in safari, Kuidas Camp comprises four igloo-shaped tents built into the reeds along edge of the ephemeral Huab River. The chemical toilet and hot bucket shower pose as an en suite bathroom and make almost no impact on the fragile desert ecosystem – the living area has some slightly more lavish shared bathroom facilities. The lounge, bar and dining area is a reed-enclosed, thatch-roofed space that opens out onto a deck and campfire overlooking the spectacular Damaraland scenery of the Huab River Valley. A choice of good wines accompany your dinners which are fresh and simple; breakfast and lunch are usually cold buffets. |
