Namushasha Lodge on the banks of the Kwando RiverNamushasha Lodge is a secluded haven of tranquillity, its elevated position looking through a thick canopy of jackalberry and mangosteen trees, on a quiet oxbow lake in east Caprivi Strip. The lodge is in a prime safari location between the Mudumu, Mamili, and Bwabwata Game Parks. The 27 chalets at Namushasha Lodge have private views over the Kwando River - which flows into the Linyanti Wetlands, Chobe, and ultimately the Zambezi River – and its vast floodplain. The rooms have en suite bathrooms, elegant mosquito drapes over sleigh beds, and granite tiled floors.The main lodge at Namushasha has a plunge pool and sun deck, a lively bar, and a buffet restaurant. The view tends to be of the river, the game-spattered floodplains, or the bird-filled riverine forest. |
