Lianshulu Bush Lodge in the Caprivi StripLianshulu Bush Lodge is a small and luxurious lodge on the Kwando River. The lodge is in a private concession within the Mudumu National Park in eastern Caprivi Strip – the knuckles on the hand of the finger that points to Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Zambia. Lianshulu has just 10 chalets spread out along the river. Tucked under the mangosteen and jackalberry trees and peering over the papyrus reeds, each room is a spacious, comfortable den of romance with outdoor showers, private balconies and massive netted beds. A thatched roof spans the palatial living area, which comprises the lounge, bar, and dining area. The river-facing wall doesn't exist and the whole spills out onto a large deck to the water's edge. An open-air mezzanine level provides endless views over the floodplains and up into the fathomless night sky. |
