A newly developed country style lodge in the village of St. Lucia, in the very heart of the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park. Watch out for hippo roaming the streets and vervet monkeys jumping across the rooftops, this isn't an ordinary town. Lidiko Lodge offers stylish and comfortable accommodation, with all rooms having their own bathrooms and air-conditioning. Meals are enjoyed on the dining deck overlooking the Great St.Lucia Lake and parklike garden of the lodge. Here you can expect to see a wide variety of birdlife. Their is also a brilliant blue sparkling pool for the perfect cooling afternoon dip. This lodge makes the perfect place to rest and relax inbetween trips to the neighbouring game parks and exploring Lake St. Lucia. Be sure to visit the crocodile park, where they have some of the biggest crocs you will ever see.

The Greater St Lucia Wetland Park is South Africa’s third largest park, comprising of 328 000 hectares and 280 km of coastline and 3 major lake systems. Lake St Lucia is Africa’s largest Estuary, approximately 85 km long. It is home to the greatest congregation of hippo and crocodiles in South Africa with more than a 1000 hippos and more than 2000 crocodiles. It is also the last significant breeding ground for the giant leatherback and loggerhead turtles on our coastline.
