Serondella Lodge has just four rooms – three double suites and a three-roomed family suite – accommodating up to eight on the banks of a tributary to the Monwana River in Thornybush Game Reserve. The African-themed rooms have thatched roofs, en suite and have private balconies, luxurious amenities and large beds. The main lodge at Serondella is a brick and thatch construction opening out onto a deck and the great African wilderness of the private game reserve beyond. Elevated hides offer great birding and general game viewing opportunities; an open-air dining boma is surrounded by the dense bush and the lodge has a spa in use by all five lodges in the Thornybush Inzalo collection.

Daily morning and evening game drives in open vehicles go in search of Africa's famed wildlife; leopard are speciality in this 11,500 ha reserve and a baby rhino has just joined the family. Other animals to look out for include lion, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hyena, zebra and host of antelope. For birders the reserve has more than 500 species on record.
