The Royal Legend Safari Lodge and Spa is an opulent full-featured game lodge in the privately owned Timbavati Nature Reserve. Lining a seasonal river, accommodation is in large thatched chalets with picture windows, private balconies and bathrooms that spill out into the bush. The 10 chalets are spaced well apart and the only sounds are those of the myriad unseen creatures living in the wild and tangled bush along the riverbed. Game viewing at Royal Legend Safari Lodge is excellent and your expert guides and their sharp-eyed trackers have an uncanny knack for finding the otherwise elusive high profile animals like leopard, lion, elephant, rhino, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and a variety of antelope.
