Kapama Lodge Description

Kapama Lodge is located inside Kapama Game Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park.

Accommodation is offered in 20 luxurious, thatched double chalets including full en suite bathrooms. The chalets are set in indigenous gardens and are decorated to reflect Africa's rich textures. Each of the luxury suites is air conditioned and is also equipped with a ceiling fan. The rooms have a mini-bar and coffee/tea making facilities. All chalets have spectacular views of the lake, offering the discerning traveller the very best of the African game lodge experience. Superb gourmet meals are served in the main dining room, the boma or in a secluded bush venue under a star-studded sky.

With sweeping views across a tranquil lake, Kapama Lodge is the personification of luxury accommodation.
Spacious, air-conditioned, en suite thatched chalets are set in tranquil indigenous gardens. The tea deck is a relaxing venue to observe an abundance of birds in their natural habitat or to enjoy cocktails on balmy evenings. The library and lounge offer a warm welcome on cool winter evenings.

A host of activities are available to guests including hot-air ballooning, clay pigeon shooting, elephant back safaris and bushveld sleep-outs. Kapama Lodge is located inside Kapama Game Reserve in the area of private game reserves adjacent to the Kruger National Park. Kapama Private Game Reserve occupies a vast area between the northern Drakensberg mountains and the Greater Kruger National Park. Access to Kapama Game Reserve lodge is either by road (5,5 hours drive from JHB) or by air from Johannesburg International Airport to Eastgate Airport. The reserve begins less than 5 minutes from Eastgate airport.
