Mantobeni: Game Viewing
Game drives & bush walks take place in the 23,000 hectare Manyeleti Game Reserve. Morning and evening game tracking drives in open vehicles bring you into close contact with the Big Five effortlessly and safely. Highly experienced guides will take you on foot to bring into clear focus the magic of the bush with its myriad of busy insects and resplendent bird life.
The rangers at Honeyguide tend to focus more on providng an overall bush experience than simply rushing after big game for its own sake. You’ll learn about tree, brids and bushveld ecosystems. The park’s grassy plains and mixed woodland attract good-size herds of general game and their attendant predators. The morning drive is followed by a sumptuous breakfast, after which guests can relax at the pool, participate in a short foot safari with one of the guides or view passing game at the waterhole next to the camp. During game drives, refreshments and complimentary snacks are served at a scenic spot, particularly at sunset when the view from the Mohwareng Hills is spectacular!
