Singita Boulders is built amongst the rocky geometry of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, on the Western Border of the Kruger National Park in South Africa. On arriving at Singita Boulders you immediately notice the elements of rough hewn timber, leather and stone which seem to blend perfectly with the thatched roof and wild views. Singita Boulders is contemporary in its design, but magically the designers have managed to carefully blend the classic textures of Africa with retro twists. Singita Boulders has a total of nine suites, each of which has large glass fronted windows, with spectacular views of the Sand River. Each room has its own private plunge pool with wooden deck, you can even choose to enjoy your meals here.

Lunches are usually served on the viewing deck under the shade of the giant Jackleberry Trees, dinner is either served in the elegant dining room or the outside Boma .Guests at Singita will encounter something truly original: a cuisine inspired by African flavours yet guided by the Western culinary tradition. Complementing the menu is Singita's hidden treasure: the best bush cellar in Africa. Buried deep in the cool rock below Boulders, the cellar boasts a truly unique and comprehensive cross section of over 12,000 bottles of South African and International wines. Singita Boulders is the part of the Singita Group of Lodges. Singita Ebony is also in the Sabi Sands and next door to Boulders. Singita Lebombo and Singita are on a private concession in the Kruger National Park.

Singita : A day on Safari

Guests usually arrive at Singita at about 12h00 where you are welcomed to the camp by the manager and shown to your suite and given an orientation of the lodge and the facilities. Lunch is usually served on arrival. At about 15h30 you will meet your ranger on the veranda for tea & coffee prior to setting out on your afternoon game drive. During winter months you are encouraged to dress warmly as it does get cold.

The afternoon game drive continues into the evening, and with use of a powerful spot light your ranger and tracker spot nocturnal animals. You return to the camp at about 20h00, this will give chance to freshen up before dinner. Dinner is usually served in the Boma or in the air-conditioned dining room. The following morning you are woken early before embarking on an early morning game drive. Tea and Coffee is served before hand and you return to the camp for a well earned breakfast.
