Buhala Game Lodge is a small and comfortable hotel-like lodge across the Crocodile River from the Kruger National Park. The lodge is a well positioned base from which to explore the park and the many attractions of the Mpumalanga region like the Panoramic Route, excellent golf courses, wildlife centres and adventure activities. The Malelane Gate to the southern Kruger Park is just 15 minutes from Buhala, which is inside Kruger though separated by the perennial river.

The lodge has ten double rooms and two suites with views of the river and the park beyond it. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, air conditioning and the suites have bar fridges, outdoor showers and they share a private plunge pool. The main lodge comprises a lounge, bar, dining area, game viewing verandah and a swimming pool.

Top of the list of things to do is a safari in the Kruger Park. Whether you drive on your own or join the daily guided safaris on offer, the park offers exciting game viewing, birdwatching and scenic natural beauty. And you don't have to go into the park to see wildlife as many animals come to the river at dusk for a drink. Out and about there are many scenic attractions, waterfalls, nature reserves, forest retreats, adventure sports, golf, restaurants, and wildlife rehabilitation centres. Your hosts are a fountain of information and will make recommendations, bookings and arrangements for you.
