Lion Sands Ivory Lodge DescriptionThe Ivory Lodge is built on the banks of the Sabie River and has magnificent views of this ancient river. Lion Sands has been family owned since 1932 and has exclusive access to the Sabie River. The river through Lion Sands teems with wildlife. Coupled with the extensive experience of the senior ecologists, rangers and tracking teams, Lion Sands is the definitive safari experience. The Ivory Lodge is about African Euro elegance while the natural simplicity of the bush is maintained in a harmonious and stylish manner. The Ivory Lodge signifies exclusivity, sensitivity and complete privacy. The entrance area is separate from the main lodge in order to ensure that guests arriving and departing have no impact on other overnight guests. There are 6 ultra luxurious suites which are positioned 20 metres apart and linked to all areas via wooden walkways. All suites have an en-suite bathroom, outdoor & inside shower, air condiotioning, courtyard, lounge with fireplace, wooden viewing deck, patio & private plunge pool. All rooms have telephone and Internet access. The suites are 165m² in size all have breathtaking views over the Sabie River, a setting where game viewing can be done from the luxury of one's private suite - Africa's finest bedrooms!
