Camp Shawu DescriptionCamp Shawu, and it's sister camp Shonga, opened in February 2005 in a 15 000 hectare private concession within the southern region of the Kruger National Park. Game-viewing in the area is superb, with sightings of 'The Duke' - an elephant boasting the largest tusks in the park, and probably the world - are common. The region is also home to three lion prides and a number of wild dog dens. Camp Shawu offers luxury at a surprisingly affordable price, ensuring that a thrilling, exclusive private game park experience is within reach of all wildlife enthusiasts. |

Shishangeni is a hotel-like lodge in a large private concession in the south-eastern corner of the Kruger National Park; with 22 rooms, an enormous living area and a casual atmosphere, you can keep to yourself or mix as you please a rare luxury in this day of five-room lodges with four staff to each guest.
