As the central hub for much of East Africa, it's easy to get into and out of Nairobi with a regular flight schedule which includes many of the main international hubs.
Being the central hub of East Africa, there are regular flights to
Nairobi from South Africa, Europe and the United States. Many international carriers fly into
Jomo Kenyatta International Airport each day. Until recently there were no direct flights to Kenya from USA but now Delta Airlines does fly from JFK International Airport to Nairobi 3 times a week. Most European capitals have direct flights to Nairobi and getting there from South Africa is easy as pie with daily flights from Johannesburg.
From Nairobi, most internal flights leave from
Wilson Airport just outside the city centre. This domestic airport specialises in regional flights around the country and to parts of Tanzania. Most fly in safaris require that you depart from Wilson Airport.
