The tents at Elephant Pepper Camp are palatial, the interiors reach colonial heights of luxury, and the altogether no-frillness of the Elephant Pepper Camp leads the eye to the glorious plains of the Maasai Mara wilderness in Kenya, East Africa. The living area, also tented, features deep sofas, Persian rugs, and a family dining table. Giving you an almost unobstructed view of the East Africa bush from almost everywhere, the sides of the tents that don't fold away completely have gauze windows.

The tents at Elephant Pepper Camp have en suite bathrooms with hot-water bucket showers, flush toilets, and double vanities. Each has a private verandah and they are well spaced apart so you only share your night with the noises of the Masai Mara bush. Food is an exotic combination of northern Italy and East Africa. The kitchen and camp staff – of whom more than half are from the local Maasai community – have been trained to the highest levels of hospitality as have your Masai guides.
