When most people think Kalahari, they envisage huge tracts of sandy desert without a plant or animal in sight. But this is not entirely true. This vast region is home to an array of fauna and flora and the plains bloom with flowers and plants during Spring. Lion, leopard, cheetah and predators roam the plains in search of antelope and a great variety of bird life can be seen around the salt pans. The San Bushmen still occupy parts of the Kalahari and this is your chance to see an ancient culture before it is lost forever!
